Health Tips - 5 Helpful Natural Remedies from Your Kitchen

Your kitchen is a rich resource of several healthy remedies for skincare treatment and many other useful options. Mentioned here some of them, which could prove to be of immense help in day to day life.

Facial Mask - You can take the advantage of the food items in your kitchen and give a wonderful skin treatment to your face without incurring lavish expenditure on a spa. Take plain yoghurt, egg whites and honey and mix them to make a great facial mask to tone up the skin and help the skin look lustrous.

Oil Cleansing of the Skin - Make a cleansing oil combination with Olive oil, Almond oil or Coconut Oil and Castor oil instead of experiencing the harsh effect of the soap. Use castor oil in 10% ratio and the rest by equal portion of olive oil and coconut oil or sweet almond oil. The oil cleansing program helps clean skin pores effectively and would also help the skin get moisturized naturally. Massage the cleansing oil over the face for 5-10 minutes. Take a clean cloth dipped in steamy water and soak it over the face to wipe off the oil. Wait for the skin becoming cool and soft.

Bronzing of the Skin - You can achieve natural bronzing for the golden skin. Prepare a paste with cocoa powder, cinnamon and arrowroot to create a preferable shade. Use 50 % cocoa powder, 30% cinnamon and some arrowroot to create similar skin tone. Keep it in a jar and use a brush to apply it on your skin for the bronze hue. You smell exciting as well.

Natural Hair Conditioner – The natural hair mask turns the hair shiny, silky smooth and works even on curly hair. Prepare a smooth mixture with one ripe banana and one ripe avocado. You can use essential oils such as coconut oil instead of the banana.  Apply it on the hair with the help of combs and put on a shower cap and wait for 15-20 minutes before you take a shower to rinse the hair clean. You can do this once in a month to achieve extra shine on your hair that really glimmers.

Natural Microdermabrasion – It tells of a skin treatment process wherein the exfoliating crystals are applied on the face to help remove dead epidermal cells. Baking soda is a natural abrasive that removes dead skin cells and helps turn the skin glowing.  Wash your face with lukewarm water. Take some baking soda on both palms of your hands and apply the soda on your face without affecting eyes.  Continue massaging the face for 3-4 minutes. Rinse your face with lukewarm water and pat the face dry with a soft towel. Your skin shows natural glow
